A lodging in the city center of Angers

This house renovated in 2021, is located in the outbuilding of a 19th century mansion. It is located in the “Saint-Joseph” district, a quiet residential area a few steps away from the “Jardin du Mail” and the “Place du Ralliement”.

The lodging will be perfect for families looking for peace of mind while remaining close to downtown shops and tourist sites.

Paid public parking is a 5-minute walk away, as is a free parking street. The train station is a 15-minute walk away. A room can be made available to park bikes safely.

The house contains a staircaise, therefore it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Location of the lodging

The living room

The living room with its fully equipped kitchen is located on the first floor. It includes an oven, hotplates, microwave oven, coffee machine, blender, kettle and a fridge. Internet connectivity by Wifi network and a 55-inch television with Netflix subscription are also available. A high chair for kids can be provided on demand.

Furniture pieces were collected during our previous lives abroad. 
The art deco style sideboard comes from Malta, while the Rietveld-inspired armchairs are the work of a Dutch craftsman.
The suspensions were made by ourselves by upcycling old lampshades.
Vintage tableware and all kitchen necessities are provided.

The parental bedroom

The master bedroom is at the back of the accommodation. Without vis-à-vis, it offers an unobstructed view of the Saint-Joseph church. Travel books are provided as well as additional duvets, a drying rack, iron and ironing board in the storage space located under the queen-sized bed.

As the building is not adjoining and located in the courtyard of the property, the rooms offer absolute calm.

Children’s room

The children’s room is located on the courtyard side. A bunk bed and some children’s toys are available. A travel cot can be provided on request.

Radiators are programmable and can be adjusted manually

The bathroom

A washer / dryer combi is present in the bathroom. Towels, toiletries and a hairdryer are provided.

An old antique dressing table was upcycled and combined with a basin and its fittings.

The entrance

The toilets are located at the entrance on the ground floor. Access to the living room and the bedrooms is via the staircase.

A barrier can be installed at the top of the stairs to ensure the safety of small children.

Reservation

To book the lodging via the AirBnb platform, all you have to do is click on the thumbnail opposite. A minimum of 2 nights is requested while a maximum of 14 nights is allowed.

The accommodation is ideal to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Arrival and departure times vary according to demand. Generally, arrival is from 3 p.m., and departure between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
